Sri Yadavendra Theertha is the 19th saint in the lineage of gurus at Puttige mutt after Madhwacharya. He received his spiritual training from Sri Taponidhi Theertha and led the Peeta for 42 years.
Although there isn't much information available about him, he was recognized as a great scholar and authored a commentary on the Bhagavatha. He also received the village of Mundigejaddu as a gift.
After passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Taponidhi Theertha, it is believed that Sri Yadavendra Theertha entered Vrindavan at Srimadallu, although this information needs to be confirmed through thorough research.
