Sri Sridhara Theertha is the fourteenth saint in the lineage of Shiroor Mutt following Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Vedanidhi Theertha and served as the pontiff for a duration of 20 years.
Renowned for his devotion to Bhagavatha parayana, Sri Sridhara Theertha was actively involved in reciting and studying the Bhagavatha. He was also a prolific poet, known for composing numerous poems. One of his notable works is the 'Sri Krishna Leela', a poetic rendition of the life of Lord Krishna.
Additionally, Sri Sridhara Theertha had attained mastery over the sacred Srikara Mantra, demonstrating his deep spiritual knowledge and practice.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Yadavottama Theertha, Sri Sridhara Theertha is said to have entered Vrindavana at Pavanji village, marking the culmination of his earthly journey.
