Sri Vedanidhi Theertha is the thirteenth saint in the lineage of Shiroor Mutt following Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Srinivasa Theertha and served as the pontiff for a duration of 25 years.
Renowned as a great scholar, Sri Vedanidhi Theertha authored the 'Sukhabodhini', a commentary on Acharya Madhwa's Geetha Bhashya, showcasing his deep understanding of the scriptures.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Sridhara Theertha, Sri Vedanidhi Theertha is believed to have entered Vrindavana at Shivapura, marking the end of his earthly journey.
