Previous (Shri Vibudhendra Teertharu) | Next (Shri Bhuvanendra Teertharu)
Sri Surendra Theertha is the 23rd saint in the lineage of gurus at Puttige mutt after Madhwacharya. He received his spiritual training from Sri Vibudhendra Theertha and led the Peeta for 15 years. Although he was recognized as a great scholar, there isn't much information available about him.
After passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Bhuvanendra Theertha, it is believed that Sri Surendra Theertha entered Vrindavan at Nagapuri. However, this information needs to be confirmed through thorough research.
His Aradhana is observed in the month of Phalguna, during the Shukla Paksha, on the Dwadashi Tithi
