Sri Vibudhendra Theertha is the 22nd saint in the lineage of gurus at Puttige mutt after Madhwacharya. He received his spiritual training from Sri Raghavendra Theertha and led the Peeta for 2 years. He was recognized as a great scholar.
After passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Surendra Theertha, Sri Vibudhendra Theertha entered Vrindavan at Udupi.
