Sri Anandanidhi Theertha is the 17th saint in the lineage of gurus at Puttige mutt after Madhwacharya. He received his spiritual training from Sri Gunanidhi Theertha and led the Peeta for 24 years.
After passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Taponidhi Theertha, Sri Anandanidhi Theertha entered Vrindavan at Puttige.
