Sthala Purana
Ghati Subramanya is one of Karnataka’s most famous pilgrimage centers. The temple is unique because Lord Subramanya is worshipped in the sanctum, while Lord Narasimha is enshrined at the back of the same idol — visible only through a mirror placed behind. The legend narrates that Narasimha manifested here to bless devotees alongside Subramanya, symbolizing protection and valor. The kshetra is mentioned in ancient inscriptions and revered by Madhwa saints.
