The Jharni Narasimha Temple (also called Zarni Narasimha) is a rare cave shrine in Bidar, Karnataka. The legend narrates that Lord Narasimha appeared here to bless sages who performed penance in the caves. The sanctum is located deep inside a natural cave, where devotees wade through waist‑deep water to reach the deity. The Lord is worshipped as Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, symbolizing protection and divine grace. The cave’s continuous water flow is considered sacred and miraculous.
