Sthala Purana Antarvedi is known as the “Dakshina Varanasi.” According to legend, Lord Narasimha appeared here to bless Sage Vashishta, who performed penance at the confluence of the Vasishta Godavari River and the Bay of Bengal. The temple is dedicated to Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, and the kshetra is believed to remove sins and grant moksha.
