Sthala Purana
Bhadravati's Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is a thirteenth-century Hoysala Vaishnava temple. Its three sanctums and sculptural programme preserve an important example of medieval Karnataka's sophisticated temple architecture.
The temple demonstrates the strong position of Narasimha worship within the Hoysala religious world and continues to serve as both a place of worship and a significant heritage monument.
