Udupi is around 56 Kms from Mangalore district of Karnataka. By Train: The nearest railway station is Udupi. It is well connected from all major cities located in the South and West of India. From Udupi Railway station the Temple is around 3 Kms. One can take Auto to reach the destination. The next biggest station is Mangaluru. Which is around 55 Kms from Udupi. One can take local train or bus or cab from Mangaluru to reach Udupi. By Road: Udupi is around 400 Kims from Bengaluru going through NH75 – SH 37 – NH 169 – SH 67 and SH 66. It takes around 7-8 hours to reach Udupi by Road from Bengaluru. Udupi is 270 Kms from Goa and can be reached via NH 66. By Air: The nearest airport is Mangaluru airport, which is approximately 60 km. away from Udupi via NH 66. You can take a taxi or a bus to Udupi once you touch down at Mangalore Airport. There are two ways to reach Udupi from Mangaluru. The cheapest way is to take a train from Mangaluru. It takes around 1 Hr and 20 Mts to reach Udupi Station. The fastest way is to take a cab from Mangalure to reach Udupi which takes around 45 Mts, depending on the traffic.
