Every day we wash our legs on various occasions. How to wash them? We go to the tap, pour water, and wash one leg with another. Is it correct? No, absolutely not. Because the Kurma Purana states we shouldn't wash one leg with the other, and the Vishnu Smriti says the same. We should wash our legs separately as shown, by placing them under the tap like this. We should never wash one leg using the other.
