Shri Sumatindra Teertharu was the 27th Pontiff of Shri Puttige Math. His guru was Shri Yogindra Teertharu, and his disciple was Shri Sudhindra Teertharu. His Brindavan is located at Udupi, and his Aradhana is observed in the month of Phalguna, during the Shukla Paksha, on the Poornima Tithi. The period of his service and his Poorvashrama name need further research.
