Shri Satyadheera Teertharu is the 36th saint in the lineage of Shri Uttaradi Math. His guru was Shri Satyavira Teertharu, and his shishya was Shri Satyajnana Teertharu. His poorvashrama name was Shri Jayacharya, He entered Brindavana at Athakur, on the banks of the Krishna River. His period of service was from 1886 to 1906. His Aradhana is observed in the month of Jyeshtha, during Krishna Paksha, on the Navami tithi.
Shri Satyadheera Teertharu was the poorvashrama father of Shri Satyadhyana Teertharu. In his poorvashrama, he regularly performed Vayu Stuti punarucharana, praying for the good health of his son (the future Shri Satyadhyana Teertharu). One day, a man appeared and blessed the child, saying that all would be well and that the child would become a sanyasi. After speaking these words, the man vanished. Shri Jayacharya realized that it was none other than Prana Devaru who had appeared.
On one occasion, he honored all the Matha staff with expensive silk shawls, as they had innocently requested them. These shawls were originally meant for pandits invited for the upcoming Aradhane of his gurugalu.
During his sanchara, he installed a Bhaktanjaneya Vigraha at Nellore, on the banks of the Uttara Pinakini river.
