Shri Satyadheera Teertha was pontiff of the Shri Uttaradi Matha during the period from 1886 to 1906.
His Purvasahrama Name was Shri Jayacharya. After being initiated to Vedantha Samrajya, he took up the construction of Brindavana in Korlahalli to his beloved guru Shri Satyaveera Teertharu and performed Mahasamaradhana. Shri Satyadheera Teertharu visited Bangalore, Hyderabad ,Rameshawara , Kashi and many other places for the propagation of Dwaitha Siddhantha as a part of polemical tour.
Shri Satyadheera Teertha was a great soul and an admirable personality. He belonged to the popular Korlhalli lineage to which 3 of the pontiffs of Shri Uttaradi Math belonged.
Once the Mahasamaradhana of his guru was around the corner and all the preparations were going on. It has been the tradition of Shri Uttaradi Matha to honor the scholars by offering "shaals" (richly woven and decorated cloth) which is exclusive. This time, other workers of the Matha who hardly had any recognition for once wished to wear the "shaal" reserved only for the scholars, This came to HH's notice and in no time, His Holiness ordered numerous such shaals and distributed it among everyone as a mark of his love and appreciation to the selfless service of every class of people associated with Shri Matha. Shri Satyadheera Teertha ordained Shri Kinhal Jayacharya and named him as Shri Satyajnyana Teertha to the pontificate throne of Shri Uttaradi Matha and entered the Brindavana in Atkur on 1906 , Parabhava Jeshtha Krishana Navami ,on the bank of river Krishna.
