Green beans – 1 cup (steamed)
Boiled peanuts – ½ cup
Finely chopped onions – ½ cup
Salt – To taste
Chutney Pudi – 1 tablespoon
For Seasoning:
Oil – ½ tablespoon
Ghee – ½ teaspoon
Mustard seeds – ½ teaspoon
Jeera (cumin) – 1 pinch
Chopped curry leaves – A small amount
For Garnishing:
Grated fresh coconut – A little (around 1 tablespoon)
Prepare the Pan:
Heat a pan on medium flame.
Add ½ tablespoon of oil and ½ teaspoon of ghee.
Seasoning:
Add ½ teaspoon of mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add 1 pinch of jeera and a small amount of chopped curry leaves. Sauté briefly until fragrant.
Fry the Onions:
Add ½ cup of finely chopped onions and fry on low flame until they become soft and transparent.
Add Beans and Peanuts:
Add 1 cup of steamed green beans and ½ cup of boiled peanuts to the onions.
Stir everything together.
Flavoring:
Add salt to taste and 1 tablespoon of chutney pudi.
Sauté on low flame for about 3 minutes to blend the flavors.
Garnishing:
Turn off the stove.
Garnish with around 1 tablespoon of freshly grated coconut.
Serve:
Serve hot as a side dish or snack.
