Sri Vijaya Theertha is the 15th saint in the lineage of gurus (guru parampare) after Sri Adhokshaja Theertha at the Pejawar mutt.
He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Viswaprajna Theertha and served as the head (ruler) of the Peeta for a period of 5 years.
There isn't much information available about Sri Vijaya Theertha, but he was believed to be a great scholar.
It is believed that he wrote commentary on Bhagavatha.
He appointed Sri Visweshwara Theertha as his successor.
Sri Vijaya Theertha passed away on the 10th day of Jeshta Bahula (a Hindu lunar month). It is said that he passed away at Vrindavana, but this needs to be confirmed through thorough research.
