Sri Suresha Theertha is the tenth saint in the lineage of Shiroor Mutt following Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Raghava Theertha and served as the pontiff for a duration of 23 years.
During his tenure, Sri Suresha Theertha embarked on the Badari Yatra and visited other significant pilgrimage sites. He also conducted Sudha paata, a sacred recitation, on the banks of the river Bhagirathi three times.
Regarded as an erudite scholar, Sri Suresha Theertha transformed the mutt into a renowned seat of learning under his leadership.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Vedabhushana Theertha, it is believed that Sri Suresha Theertha entered Vrindavana, with accounts suggesting his final resting place on the banks of the river Ganga. However, this detail requires thorough research for confirmation.
