Sri Raghava Theertha is the ninth saint in the lineage of Shiroor Mutt following Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Krishna Theertha and served as the pontiff for a duration of 17 years.
Renowned as a Maha Tapasvi, Sri Raghava Theertha possessed profound knowledge of the Vedas. He was revered for his pious nature and his active involvement in socio-religious programs aimed at uplifting the community.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Suresha Theertha, Sri Raghava Theertha is said to have transcended to Vrindavana, with accounts suggesting his final resting place on the banks of the river Netravati.
