Previous (Shri Sambhava Teertharu) | Next (Shri Vidyamurthi Teertharu)
The fourth seer in this lineage is Shri Aparajita Teertha. This name too is one among the thousand names of the Lord. Aparajita means undefeated. The Lord has never been defeated by anyone at point of time. With this contemplation, Shri Sambhava Teertha named his successor Shri Aparajita Teertha intending that his disciple never encounters defeat and must always emerge victorious in expounding the religious treatises. He too dedicated his life to promoting the ideology of Acharya. He propitiated the Lord through lessons and discourses, worshipping and meditating upon him. He lead a fulfilling life. He headed the matha for 30 years. During Virodhi samvatsara, magha shuddha saptami, His Holiness attained vrindavana at the banks of the Godavari river.
