Sri Ranganatha Theertha is the 10th saint in the lineage of gurus at Puttige mutt after Madhwacharya. He received his spiritual training from Sri Gopinatha Theertha and led the Peeta for 52 years. Despite his long tenure, there isn't much information available about him. He was renowned as a great scholar and is credited with nurturing many other scholars. He primarily resided in Udupi.
After passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Ranganatha Theertha, it is said that he entered Vrindavan at Udupi.
