Sri Raghunatha Theertha is the 7th saint in the lineage of gurus at Puttige mutt after Madhwacharya. He received his spiritual training from Sri Damodara Theertha and led the Peeta for 7 years.
After passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Srivatsanka Theertha, Sri Raghunatha Theertha is said to have entered Vrindavan at Udupi. His Aradhana is observed in the month of Chaitra, during the Shukla Paksha, on the Panchami Tithi.
