Sri Prajnanamurthy Theertha is the twenty-fourth saint in the lineage of gurus following Sri Janardhana Theertha in the guru parampare of Krishnapura mutt.
He received his Ashrama from Sri Yadavendra Theertha and served as the head of the Peeta for an impressive duration of 31 years.
Sri Prajnanamurthy Theertha was highly esteemed as a great scholar, renowned for his profound knowledge and expertise.
He performed Sudha mangala and Tatvaprakashika mangala ceremonies four times, showcasing his dedication to spiritual rituals.
Additionally, Sri Prajnanamurthy Theertha demonstrated his proficiency in the complete Mahabharata Tatparya Nirnaya (interpretation of the essence of Mahabharata), engaging in daily parayana (recitation) of this scripture.
Upon passing on the leadership to Sri Vidyadhiraja Theertha, Sri Prajnanamurthy Theertha is said to have entered Vrindavana at Kashi.
