Shri Lokantha Teertharu

Shri Lokanatha Theertha is the fifth saint in the lineage of gurus following Sri Janardhana Theertha in the guru parampare of Krishnapura mutt.

Sri Lokanatha Theertha received his Ashrama from Sri Lokesha Theertha and served as the head of the Peeta for a duration of 14 years.

He was well-versed in four Shastras and imparted teachings on Sudha and other works multiple times to his disciples.

Sri Lokanatha Theertha had attained mantra siddhi (mastery over mantras).

Once, a practitioner of magic (mantrika) with his siddhi (mystical powers) set fire to the mutt.

Sri Lokanatha Theertha extinguished the fire by sprinkling water on it, causing it to redirect towards the mantrika.

The mantrika, realizing his mistake, apologized to Sri Lokanatha Theertha and sought his blessings.

Upon passing on the leadership to Sri Lokapriya (Lokapujya) Theertha, it is said that Sri Lokanatha Theertha entered Vrundavana at Haridwar. However, thorough research is necessary to confirm this account.
