Shri Bhuvanendra Tirtharu was of great intellect, acquiring administrative acumen from his guru Varadendra Tirtharu and scholarship from Dheerendra Tirtharu. He also patronized Haridasa literature and was revered by the Peshwas of Pune. During his tour, he collected contributions from disciples to construct a big gold Mantap for worshiping the idol of Mula Rama.
He first gave sanyasa to a great intellectual named Vyasatatvagnaru, who became the royal guru in the court of Seetharama Bhoopala, the king of Gadwal. Vyasatatvagnaru chose to remain a Bidi sanyasi. Later, Shri Bhuvanendra Tirtharu anointed Shri Subhodendra Tirtharu as his successor to the pITa.
During his tenure, documents regarding the village of Mantralaya were executed by Nawab Mansoordaul Bahadur, contributing to the progress of the mutt. He introduced a seal with a shloka to boost the mutt's fame in accordance with ancient tradition, which was an important milestone.
Pranesha Dasaru extolled Swamiji in his poem, highlighting his esteemed position in the world. During the floods of 2009, the brindavana premises got flooded, necessitating the shifting of the brindavana to a new location slightly away from the banks.
