Sri Vadeendra Theertha holds the revered position as the eleventh saint in the guru parampare lineage of the Pejawar Mutt, succeeding Sri Adhokshaja Theertha.
He received his Ashrama from Sri Vasudeva Theertha and served as the leader of the Peeta for a period of 7 years.
Sri Vadeendra Theertha was renowned for his deep tapasya (austerities) and profound scholarship.
After appointing Sri Vedagarbha Theertha as his successor, Sri Vadeendra Theertha departed from his mortal body on the banks of the river Kaveri at its birthplace on the 10th day of Pushya Shudha.
However, the exact place of his demise requires further research for confirmation.
