Sri Lakshmivallabha Theertha is the twenty-sixth saint in the lineage of Shiroor Mutt following Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Lakshmipriya Theertha and served as the pontiff for an impressive 57 years.
He was a dedicated disciple of the pontiff of Sri Krishnapura Mutt and renowned as a great ascetic. Sri Lakshmivallabha Theertha performed various religious rituals with great devotion, including the Vishnu Panchaka five times, the Bhagavatha Saptaha once, and the Sudha Mangala thrice.
On a Dwadashi Tithi, while performing Pooja and offering arathi, his devotees witnessed him attain Samadhi, departing from his physical body.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Lakshmisamudra Theertha, Sri Lakshmivallabha Theertha is believed to have entered Vrindavana at Udupi, marking the end of his earthly journey.
