Sri Lakshmipriya Theertha is the twenty-fifth saint in the lineage of Shiroor Mutt following Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Lakshmimanohara Theertha and served as the pontiff for a decade.
He is fondly remembered for his dedicated efforts in propagating the Dvaita philosophy. Sri Lakshmipriya Theertha traveled extensively throughout the country, delivering sermons and spreading the teachings of Jagadguru Sri Madhwacharya far and wide.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Lakshmivallabha Theertha, Sri Lakshmipriya Theertha is believed to have entered Vrindavana at Udupi, marking the culmination of his earthly journey.
