Sri Srinidhi Theertha is the 15th saint in the lineage of gurus at Puttige mutt after Madhwacharya. He received his spiritual training from Sri Srinivasa Theertha and led the Peeta for 19 years. He wrote a commentary on Nyayasudha known as 'Srinidhitirthiya', which is well-known.
He is believed to have been a contemporary of Sri Raghavendra Theertha (Rayaru).
After passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Gunanidhi Theertha, it is said that Sri Srinidhi Theertha entered Vrindavan at Udupi.
