Sri Srivatsanka Theertha is the 8th saint in the lineage of gurus at Puttige mutt after Madhwacharya. He received his spiritual training from Sri Raghunatha Theertha and led the Peeta for 20 years.
After passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Gopinatha Theertha, it is believed that Sri Srivatsanka Theertha entered Vrindavan at Rameswaram.
His Aradhana is observed in the month of Bhadrapada, during the Shukla Paksha, on the Saptami.
