Sri Vidyanidhi Theertha is the twenty-ninth saint in the lineage of gurus following Sri Janardhana Theertha in the guru parampare of Krishnapura mutt.
He received his Ashrama from Sri Vidyendra Theertha and served as the head of the Peeta for a duration of 15 years.
Sri Vidyanidhi Theertha undertook three pilgrimage tours of the Ganga and other sacred places, including Kurukshetra and Dwaraka.
During his tenure, he diligently imparted knowledge by conducting paata (recitation) of Bhashya (commentaries) and other scriptures to his disciples.
Sri Vidyanidhi Theertha received honors from many kings due to his spiritual eminence.
He is believed to have possessed the ability to make the submerged city of Dwaraka visible to the people during a specific astrological event known as Kapilashashtiyoga.
Kapilashashtiyoga occurs when the Bhadrapada Bahula Shashti tithi coincides with either Tuesday or Sunday, with Vyatipata yoga and Rohini Nakshatra also present.
Sri Vidyanidhi Theertha accomplished the feat of making the golden Dwaraka visible to the people during this auspicious astrological configuration.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Vidyasamudra Theertha, Sri Vidyanidhi Theertha entered Vrindavana at Krishnapura.
