Lord Shiva and Maata Parvati took 7 Pheras during their wedding (Solemnized by Lord Narayana) in this Havan Kund located in Triyugi Narayan Temple (Uttarakhand). The sacred fire (Tap Agni) called as Dhananjay was created by Aditi Devi for this event. This holy fire has been kept on for the last three yugas. 
This is one of the popular wedding locations in Uttarakhand. People get married in nearby halls and come here to take the 7 Pheras. Even married couples who visit this place on their pilgrimage perform 4 Pheras seeking the blessings of Triyugi Narayan.
