General
Srimadacharya clearly declares—“Truth, truth, again truth”—that there is nothing superior to the Vedas and Shastras, and no deity greater than Lord Keshava. God can be truly understood only through the Vedas and Shastras; there is no other means.
Worldly education is useful for practical life, but for understanding our true nature, for inner spiritual growth, and for attaining moksha, only the Shastras explained by Srimadacharya are essential. As stated in Sumadhvavijaya, those who constantly study and reflect upon these Shastras, according to their ability, attain liberation.
Studying Shastras removes many difficulties in life and is itself a great virtuous act. Reading, writing, reciting, or even copying Srimadacharya’s Shastras gives immense merit. Shastra and Srimadacharya are not different—the Shastra itself is his form.
True knowledge arises from the correct study of Shastras, and through that knowledge, one attains the joy of moksha. Actions performed with knowledge, faith, and purity become powerful and fruitful.
Learning Shastras does not hinder other studies. Srimadacharya explains that by mastering Sanskrit and Shastras, the benefits of all other languages and sciences are naturally gained. One who truly understands Shastras also understands worldly life correctly.
Therefore, for God’s grace, right knowledge, and the path to liberation, the study of Srimadacharya’s Shastras is absolutely essential in life.
May this be offered to Shri Krishna.
