According to the scriptures, one should avoid travelling on their birth star day, as well as during Ghaatavaara, Vaidruti, Vyatipata, and certain other inauspicious yogas.
However, if travel is absolutely unavoidable, one may pray to Bhagavān, offer a fruit or charity, and take the blessings of elders before starting the journey. This allowance is only for unavoidable situations.
Otherwise, it is better to avoid travelling on such days.
