Shri Vidyaprasanna Teertharu was the 37th Pontiff of Shri Vyasaraja Math, Sosale, from 1940 to 1969. His Guru was Shri Vidyavaridhi Teertharu, and his disciple was Shri Vidyapayonidhi Teertharu. His Pūrvāśrama name was Shri Narasimhacharya. His Brindavana is located at Sosale. His Aradhana is observed in the month of Mārgashīrṣa, during the Shukla Pakṣa, on the Pūrṇimā Tithi.
