Shri Vibudendra Teertharu was the 11th of Shri Raghavendra Swamy Matha (also known as Vibhudendra Matha in earlier times). He entered the order of sanyasa under the guidance of Shri Ramachandra Teertharu and served the lineage from 1435 to 1490. His ashrama shishya was Shri Jitamitra Teertharu. His poorvashrama name was Shri Raghunatha Bhatta. His Moola Brindavana is located in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, and his aradhana is observed on Margashirsha Shukla Dashami.
