Shri Upendra Teertharu was the 2nd Pontiff of Shri Puttige Math. His guru was Shriman Madhwacharyaru (Shri Shri 1008 Ananda Teertharu), and his disciple was Shri Kavindra Teertharu. His Brindavan is located on the banks of the Krishna River, and his Aradhana is observed in the month of Maagha, during the Shukla Paksha, on the Dwadashi Tithi. The period of his service and his Poorvashrama name need further research.
