Shri Taponidhi Teertharu was the 19th Pontiff of Shri Puthige Math. His guru was Shri Anandanidhi Teertharu, and his disciple was Shri Yadavendra Teertharu. His Brindavan is located at Tirthahalli, and his Aradhana is observed in the month of Maagha, during the Krishna Paksha, on the Amavasya Tithi. The period of his service and his Poorvashrama name need further research.
