rAgappa, yOgIndra and subbaNNa were three sons of Tirakappa. rAgappa had lecoderma (White patches) all over the body when he was born. Tirakappa and his wife performed seva at manatralaya to sri Raghavendra. Raghappa’s white patches vanished except on his right foot. “Rayaru” in the swapna told Tirakappa that this patch would not go as it had come in Moola swaroopa. Hence they returned to their place. Second son was YogIndra. He learnt PARSI LANGUAGE as it was the official language of that region at that time. After some time Sri jagannAtha dAsaru had come to Lingasugur and came to Tirakappa's House. Seeing YogIndra said “He is a precious jewel’ by placing his hand on his head, rubbing gently his hair, gave Ankita” Sri Pranesha Vittala” and added him to his dAsa kUTa. YogIndra (Now Pranesha Vittala) left learning Parsi and went to harapanahaLLi to learn Sanskrit and madhwa shAstra under roTTi varadAchArya. He came to his native place and started his life in poverty writing pada, padya, etc. His brother rAghappa was his scribe. yOgIndra's duty was to take cattle, etc. to forest for their food and bring them back in the evening. This helped him in spending time in Sri hari vAyu and gurugaLa dhyAna, etc. He became VairagyashAli also. Sri Varadendra swamy of Manatralayam on his visit to Lingasugur stayed with Pranesha dAsaru. Pranesh dAsaru receiving him said “Hindina SukarmavEnu bandodaidavO Varadendra raaya banda namma mandirakkindu”. He offered Bhiksha. From him, Swamiji obtained as “dAnaM” a bunch of hay stack. The swamiji said that he would collect the hay whenever he required it and that it should be left there itself. In 1785, Vishwava Samvatsara AshADa shuddha ShasTi, Tuesday, Sri varadEndra tIrtharu attained Brindavanam at Pune. After some time, Sri Varadendra tIrtharu appeared in the swapna of Pranesha Vittala Dasaru said that he would come to Ligsuguru in the form of a Tulsi Plant below the Hay stack donated by him. For the consecration of his Brindavanam at that site, his Padukas would arrive next day from Pune. When Pranesha Dasaru cleared the Hay stack he saw the Tulsi Plant. He got “Purusha Shile” from Gulaganji MoraDe near Lingasuguru and made arranagements for a Brindavanam and the Brindavanam was consecrated subsequently. The Brindavanam is being worshipped till now from the Vamshakaru of Sri pranesha vittala dasaru.
