Shri Madhuhari Teertharu Aradhana (Shri Tambihalli Math)

Shri Madhuhari Teertharu is the 1st saint from Shri Madhava Teertha Math (Parampare #5).
His guru was Shri Madhava Teertharu, and his disciple was Shri Narayana Teertharu.
He served during the period 1350–1390. The details about his Poorvashrama name and Brindavan location are unknown.
His aradhana is observed in the month of Jyeshtha, during Shukla Paksha Shashti.

Shri Madhuhari Teertharu was a direct disciple of Shri Madhava Teertharu, who himself was a direct disciple of Shrimad Acharya (Shri Madhvacharya). Though Shri Madhava Teertharu appointed Shri Akshobhya Teertharu as his main successor, he also gave sanyasa deeksha to Shri Madhuhari Teertharu and gifted him the Shri Veera Rama Devaru idol, worshipped by Shri Madhvacharya himself. This gave rise to a distinct lineage, known as Shriman Madhava Teertha Matha.

The Pushkarani (temple pond) at Tambihalli, the present headquarters of the matha, is named in his honor as Madhuhari Teertha Pushkarani.
