Shri Jagannatha Teertharu was the 23rd Pontiff of Shri Vyasaraja Math, Sosale, from 1755 to 1770. His Guru was Shri Raghunatha Teertharu, and his disciple was Shri Shreenatha Teertharu. His Brindavana is located at Kumbakonam. His Aradhana is observed in the month of Puṣya, during the Shukla Pakṣa, on the Dvitīyā Tithi.
