Shri Hamsendra Teertharu was the 4th Pontiff of Shri Puthige Math. His guru was Shri Kavindra Teertharu, and his disciple was Shri Yadavendra Teertharu. His Brindavan is located at Puttige, and his Aradhana is observed in the month of Phalguna, during the Shukla Paksha, on the Panchami Tithi. The period of his service and his Poorvashrama name need further research.
