Shri Rama Teertharu, the Shishya of Shri Srinivasa Teertharu (Shishya of Shri Vyasaraja Teertharu) initiated two of his disciples into Sanyasa. They were initiated as Shri Lakshmikantha Teertharu and Shri Shridhara Teertharu. The Paramapara of Shri Lakshmikantha Teertharu, with its head quarters in Sosale came to be known as SOSALE VYASARAJA MATH and the paramapara of Shri Shridhara Teertharu with its head quarters in KUNDAPUR came to be known as KUNDAPUR VYASA RAJA MATH.
