Shri Prayaga Madhwa Matha was established by Sri Sri 1008 Vidyavallabha Teertha Swamiji with the instructions and blessings of Sri Sri 1008 Vidyamanya Teertha Swamiji. The land was procured around 1987 from Kali Kamali Group and the Madhwa Matha was established to propagate Madhwa Philosophy in North India, especially in Allahabad, in Hindi.
