Shri Akshobhya Teertharu, the direct disciple of Shri Madhwacharya, gave Sanyasa to Shri Jayateertharu (Tikacharyaru) and Shri Thrailokya Bhooshana Teertharu. He had also decided that Shri Jayateertharu would succeed him as the next pontiff. When Shri Akshobhya Teertharu knew that his time had come, he had sent Shri Jayateertharu for religious Sanchar as he thought that Shri Jayateertharu would not allow him to enter Vrindavana.
He then directed Shri Thrailokya Bhooshana Teertharu to continue his parampara and gave Idols of Shri Vaikunta Ramachandra Devaru along with Goddess Sita Devi, where were worshipped by Shriman Madhwacharyaru. He then instructed Shri Thrailokya Bhooshana Teertharu to handover all the remaining idols to Shri Jayateertharu upon his arrival from Sanchara.
Shri Thrailokya Bhooshana Teertharu met Shri Jayateertharu and handed over all the idols as instructed by their Guru Shri Akshobhya Teertharu. Shri Jayatheertharu appreciated the honesty and gesture of Shri Thrailokya Bhooshana Teertharu and handed over the Shri Jayaramachandra Devaru Idol to him.
Shri Jayateertharu also named Shri Akshobhya Teertharu Parampara as Arya Matha. Hence, even today, the matha is called as Shri Kudli Arya Akshobhya Teertha Matha.
