Shri Achyuta Prekshacharya was keen in taking forward the lineage of Lord Hamsa forward. Shriman Madhwacharyaru understood his Guru's wishes and submitted one of his close Shishya Shri Satya Teertharu along with few Idols and Damodara Shaligrama as Guru Kanike to his Guru. Shri Achyuta Prekshacharyaru established a new Matha to carry forward his lineage and initiated Shri Satya Teertharu as the first pontiff of this Math. Since then, this lineage has been known as the Shri Achyuta Preksha Teertha Samasthana.
When Shri Vishwamurthi Teertharu was the Pontiff of this great Matha, he had two disciples Shri Gadadhara Teertharu and Shri Vishwapati Teertharu. The lineage of Shri Gadadhara Teertharu became to be known as 'Bhandarakeri Mutt'. The lineage of Shri Vishwapati Teertharu is called as 'Bheemana Katte Matha' or 'Bheemasetu Muni Vrunda Matha'.
