Shri Vishvapungava Teertharu

Sri Viswapungava Theertha is the twentieth saint in the lineage of gurus following Sri Janardhana Theertha in the guru parampare of Krishnapura mutt.

He received his Ashrama from Sri Suresha Theertha and served as the head of the Peeta for a duration of 11 years.

Sri Viswapungava Theertha was recognized as a proficient scholar.

He primarily resided in Udupi and devoted himself to imparting Sudha paata (spiritual teachings) to his disciples.

Upon passing on the leadership to Sri Viswavallabha Theertha, Sri Viswapungava Theertha is said to have entered Vrindavana on the banks of the river Gandaki.

However, thorough research is necessary to confirm the exact location of his Vrindavana.
