Sri Viswadheesha Theertha is the ninth saint in the lineage of gurus following Sri Janardhana Theertha in the guru parampare of Krishnapura mutt.
Sri Viswadheesha Theertha received his Ashrama from Sri Viswadhiraja Theertha and served as the head of the Peeta for a period of 13 years.
He attained siddhi (mastery) in the Dhanvantari mantra, a powerful mantra associated with the healing deity Dhanvantari.
Using his mantra siddhi, Sri Viswadheesha Theertha cured the leprosy disease of a Brahmin devotee.
Many individuals afflicted with diseases found relief and healing by applying the leftover food (prasad) of Sri Viswadheesha Theertha.
Upon passing on the leadership to Sri Viswesha Theertha, it is said that Sri Viswadheesha Theertha entered Vrundavana on the banks of the river Kaveri. However, thorough research is necessary to confirm this account.
