Sri Vijaya Madhava Theertha is the twenty-second saint in the lineage of Tambihalli Mutt, succeeding Sri Madhava Theertha. He received Ashrama from Sri Sathya Madhava Theertha in 1987 and served as the head of the Peeta for about 9 years.

After initiating Ashrama to Sri Prasanna Shoora Madhava Theertha, Sri Vijaya Madhava Theertha entered Vrindavana at Tambihalli, concluding his earthly journey and merging with the divine.

Sri Vijaya Madhava Theertha's passing away was marked by a unique and divine event. While performing the Samsthana Puje on the occasion of the uttara ArAdhane of Sri Madhava Theertha, as he displayed the vigraha of Sri Madhava Theertha Kararchita, a divine light emerged from the vigraha of Sri Prasanna Ramachandra Devaru and entered Sri Vijaya Madhava Theertha, who breathed his last while holding the vigraha.

This extraordinary event was witnessed by all the devotees participating in the ArAdhane that day, and it is captured in his charama shloka, marking the culmination of his divine journey.
