Sri Vibudhapriya Theertha succeeded Sri Vibudhadhiraja Theertha. He acquired knowledge of Shastras from Sri Viswadheesha Theertha of Sode Mutt. Renowned for his profound scholarship, he possessed expertise in pourohitya (priesthood) and Ayurveda.
Among his notable disciples were Viswamanya Theertha (Pejawar Mutt), Raghumanya Theertha (Palimar Mutt), Vidyasamudra Theertha (Kaniyoor Mutt), and Sugnanendra Theertha (Puttige Mutt), which highlights his extensive knowledge. Sri Vibudhapriya Theertha conferred sanyasa Ashrama upon Vidyamanya Theertha of Bhandarkere Mutt, who later served as the head of Palimar Mutt.
He played a pivotal role in establishing a Sanskrit college in Udupi and significantly contributed to the financial stability of the mutt. Additionally, he presented a chariot to Lord Narasimha at Ghatikachala.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Vibudhamanya Theertha, Sri Vibudhapriya Theertha entered Vrindavana at Ghatikachala.
